Desperation

Thu Aug 7, 2008, 10:31 PM
I already know that I don't update this enough. Hell, I don't even know how many actually watch to see what I'll upload of my writing. The main reason I've been having such an "upload block" is because I'm my own worst critic. Horrible of me, I know, but I'm an overachieving perfectionist.

Well, we have some good news and some bad news to cover. The bad news is that I'm still looking for a job. :dead: I've sent in my applications all over this state and no call-backs. I'll have to call up Best Buy this week to find out if there's someone I can talk to about my application I sent in recently. The good news is that I got the part of Dorothy Gale at a local theatre. Not only is this the biggest part I've ever played, but one of our bigger theatres doesn't have a Dorothy anymore and I might be filling that slot. This could grow to be something bigger to where I may very well hit Broadway. Hey, it's been known to happen and I'm not crossing that out at all in the possibilities.

I'm trying to find artists that would be willing to do a full-body, color group image that I have in mind. Sadly, the no job puts a crimp on my wallet. I'm more or less just interested to see who would be willing to take on this four character piece and read the interesting twist and who's filling the roles. :devilish:

I'll make sure to update my journal again when I do have a job. Don't be surprised if I start going through my watchlist (funny that I have a 18 friends out of 102 I'm watching--though some are doubles of users) and start sending notes to those who would feel comfortable doing it.

:iconfongmingyun: - I haven't forgotten!
