I was formerly the GAMEBREAKER TV “red shirt” Missy but now I am a freelance writer for GameSkinny. At GameSkinny, I focus on the latest news from World of Warcraft and helpful guides.

I started playing World of Warcraft on February 3rd 2009 with a holy-retribution Paladin–who is still currently my main. I leveled up to the Wrath of the Lich King level cap of 80 purely through questing, having rarely set foot into dungeons.

It was then I was curious about the deeper story of the game and pursued and completed the Lore Master title one year later. When I learned that there were actually Warcraft novels, I had to read them all to know more. It was then that my passion for story was set aflame.

At first I was known for moderating Josh “Lore” Allen‘s Twitch channel since he started during World of Warcraft: Cataclysm launch. Two years later, I was approached to moderate for GAMEBREAKER TV and be part of the Social Media team before adding Writer to my title list. Periodically, I was a guest host on Legendary and TWIMMO and primary host for Conspiracy Craft, while it was in show format. Late in 2014 an opportunity came across my Twitter feed to be a freelance writer for World of Warcraft over at GameSkinny.

My dream job would be working in Creative Development for Blizzard Entertainment World of Warcraft. I have a vivid imagination and a keen skill for reading between the foreshadowing, often spinning small details into larger plot points. But being any part of the Blizzard team would be awesome.

Long Hard Journey

I forgot how much time character development takes.  Especially when your muse decides she doesn't like who you are dating, wants more time with JUST you, and then disappears in a tantrum when she doesn't get any time.  But the struggle is over, for now.  First, I dumped the fiance my muse disliked.  Second, I'm re-reading my Novelists Boot Camp book.  If I keep picking it up, she is happy to comply and do her share of inspiration. Right now my female protagonist is going through a re-vamp.  She was sharing too many of my own qualities and her personality was just way too rounded.  She came off as very flat and had didn't seem to be pulling

Working the Muse

After going through a creative dry spell for the last couple of years, I finally picked up a very helpful book that I'm still reading to get my muse into shape.  So far I haven't had much rebellion from my muse and in fact, I've learned to apply certain tricks to get myself to work on specific items.  It has been the best thing since my time when theatre and re-enactments were fuel for my muse.
